According to mediobistro.com Palin representatives have been testing the waters to see if radio syndicators are interested in her.

Other sources say Palin hasn't committed to radio, but if she does ,you may remember Former Arkanas Governor Mike Huckabee made the same move.

Hell No, He won't Go!

      Archbishop Rembert G. Weakland decided that he was not going to retire from being the head of Milwaukee Archdiocese.

You may recall Weakland's name hit the media scene when his soon-to-be - released memoir about church leadership, orirntation and the scandal that resulted in his "forced" retirement to Morristown, N.J.

Weakland is now telling the media that he is not going any where and plans to spend the rest of his days in Milwaukee.

However, the former Archbishop admits that he may decide to downsize from a house to an apartment.

 

 

 

 

Federal Money Moves Slowly

 Some State governement officials are having a tougher time than others disbursing economic- stimulus money.

 According to The Wall Street Journal, Vice President Joe Biden, in his first quarterly report on the status of the $787 billion program, the administration says

it's in target for 70% of the stimulius money in the plan to be used by the end of 2010.

More than $28 billion was spent through April according to federal department reports, an additional $60 billion has been sent out.  That means only 3% has been spent . What's the hold up?

Mailman Stole Stamps to pay for house

 A  Detroit mailman stole $20,000 worth of stamps to pay  down his mortage debt.

According to postal agents, John Auito, sold stamps at a 15 percent discount. Auito's ceints were people who participated in stamp auctions.

 

No "Blue Pill" Ads before 10p.m.

U.S. Rep. Jim Moran has introduced legislation that would ban erectile-dysfunction and male-performance-

enhancement ads from commercial TV broadcasts between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. The ads would be considered "indecent,"

 meaning under Federal Communications Commission rules they could not be aired during hours when children are likely to be

watching.

The Oprah HOOK UP!!

KFC, in an effort to transform itself into "KGC," called in the heavy artillery by way of an Oprah Winfrey tie-in yesterday that

offered coupons for free samples.   But a better-than-expected response seems to have resulted in an unholy mess for a fast feeder

 struggling against slumping sales.  But KFC doesn't have any problems now yesterday there's was a three day wait for free chicken. Lines were out the door!

Man decides to clean while smoking

                  A Wisconsin man faces arson charges after telling authorities he wasn't thinking when he decided to use gasoline to clean up his apartment. After using the gasoline on his cushions and clothes he tossed a lit cigarette in to the pile.

              After this man started a fire in his apartment, he did not pull the fire alarm but instead shouted "fire" a couple times and walked to the Menasha police department.

               Firefighters on the scene said the fire damaged the apartment and caused 11 of his neighbors out of their homes.

     Michelle Obama was "Out and About" for Women's HIstory Month near the Arlington National Cemetery.

        On Tuesday, the First Lady toured a memorial for women in the military  who spoke to the crowd about service and their contributions snd achievements throught out U.S. History.

     Everybody was there from Military personnel, member of Congress to other quest the Memorial center in Virgina to ssee Ms, Obama and honor the county' heroes.

  Mayor Sam Adams of  Portland, Oregon will not resign after being caught lying about a relationship with a teenager. This information was confrimed by three town Commissioners. Of coarse, the issue is not Adams being gay, it is that he lied about having a relationship with then 17 year old, Beau Breedlove. Ladies get your pen  and your pad .... according to a study conducted by the University of Barcelona men listen more during the first ten minutes after the first sip of coffee.

As we all know, the effects of coffe increases energy, improve mood, and sexual arousal....when scientists looked at the differences in how coffee affects gender they found men had a significant improvement in their listening skills, over women.

Today Dunwoody recieved a four star and rank of general in a ceremony.

 According to sources the promotional ceremony held at the Pentagon was an emotional one.

Newly Laid Off Workers

According to some published reports individuals seeking unemployment benefits has jumped to a level that not seen since after September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks as US companies cut more jobs because of the slowing economy.

On Thursday the Labor Department reported that jobless claims seeking unemployment benefits claims increased by 32,000 to a seasonally adjusted 516,000. Which matched reports 7 years ago when claims were 517,000 and in 1992 when they were 500,000.

Basicly the numbers are panning out that our econmony is in a recession.

Cheating Husband is in Jail for wife's murder

A New York man is in jail tonight for killing his wife and then trying to make it look like a random act of violence.

But here's the kicker, after he returned from Atlantic City, the wife confronted him about his cheating ways and then he strangled her to death.

Put her dead body on the side of the road to make it look like some one else killed her.

According to yahoo news.com the man confessed, with a written and oral confession.

 But his lawyer insists that he "made a rush decision" when reporters caught up with him.

 However, the cheating bastard pleaded not guilty. Proving some men are just that Stupid!!

 

 

Nebreska is Changing the Safe Haven Law

 Okay, here's the back story.... an Atlanta  woman decided that she was tired of being "sick and tired" of her teenage son.

Instead of  giving custody to another family member she drove to the state of  Nebraska and drop the kid off.

Now, here's the deal, according the state's "Safe Haven" law she is covered without  persecution because there is not an age limit for the law.

But now the Govornor of Nebraska has decided to put the age limit on the law. But you don't have to take my word for it here's the link

Two white superemacists are being accused for plotting a national killing spree that would involed in killing black teenagers from a Tennessee High School to Democratic presidential nominee, Barack Obama. A woman in Florida was arrested for beating a man up because he did not kiss her.

According to Florida officials the man sitting inside his car, when a woman by the name of Katrina Clemente opened his door and tried to kiss him.

Because the man did want to kiss her she decided to hit him. She also hit an eight month pregnant woman as well.   

Police charged Katrina Clemente simple battery.

Just the mention of "stimulus package" made Dow Jones rose over f our hundred points. According to Yahoo.com when government

officials leaked that there might be a second stimulus package for consumers. Stocks numbers got better during the last hour of the

Wall Street day. Some economists are saying that we are in the worst credit deficit since the Great Depression that took place during

the 1930’s. Don’t worry in a time of great adversity there comes opportunity! Remember you can’t change things that are not in your

Magic Johnson Fires Back!!!

Mr. Magic Johnson fires back on two talk show hosts, Chris Baker and Langdon Perry, who claims that Magic Johnson was faking about his status about having H.I.V.

Johnson told the Associated Press in a phone interview, "I poured my life into it and a lot of other people have poured their life into it, into getting out the right information so people can protect themselves and know what HIV and AIDS is all about."

In reaction to Johnson's comment officials from radio station KTLK-FM released statements saying it regretted "some offhand remarks" by Baker and Perry.

According to time.com there's a new drug on the market called Oxytocin, not OXYCONTIN,

Oxytocin is known for controlling contractions. Now it's being used for people to have the desire to connect with others.

Scientists say that without oxytocin, people would be far less inclined to seek social interaction, let alone in love and mate for life.

NAACP is in Cincinnati

The National Association for the Advancement od Colored People is returning to Cincinnati this weekend to host it's 99th convention.

Most pominent black organizations have boycotted Cincinnati since race riots occured in 2001.

A prison guard helped two inmates to freedom. Amber Lynn Golf was romantically linked one of the two inmates that escaped. Now is has to pay back over $11,000 dollars and she pleaded guilty to federal weapons charges. Now, Golf will live 5 years where she use to work and will have 3 years on  probation after she finishes her prison term.
